Lesson fees are due at the time of the lesson. We accept Cash, Checks, Credit Cards, and PayPal. A $25 fee will be assessed to all checks returned by the bank and accounts need to be current before additional lessons can be taken.
In order to keep scheduling efficient, avoid conflicts, and keep our horses worked appropriately please be aware that 24-Hour Notice is required to cancel
lessons.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hour notice will be billed and the balance is due before the next lesson.
2019 Lesson Fees
1/2 Hour Private or 45 Minute Semi Private $65
45 Minute Private $75
15 Minute Small Child Lesson (5 and under) $40
Lesson duration is mounted instruction time. Students are expected to get to the barn 15-30 minutes before their scheduled time to tack up and expect to stay after the same amount of time to cool out and untack their horses so total barn time is usually 1 hour +.
Required Riding Attire
For safety reasons riders are required to wear long pants and a sturdy shoe or boot with a 1" heel and an ASTM/SEI approved Riding Helmet. No sandals, crocs, or sneakers are allowed to ride. We have helmets that students can use for their introductory lesson, but strongly recommend purchasing a helmet if you choose to continue lessons. Riding equipment can be purchased at Smartpak in Natick, Dover Saddlery in Wellesley, The Horseman's Exchange in Littleton, or Triple Crown Tack Show in West Boylston.
