Meet Our School Horses
Our school horses have been carefully chosen to help our riders learn and progress in their riding. Many of them are former champion show horses who are now teaching new riders. We have horses for all skill levels and many can even help riders get started showing at the local level.

Kip Kip is a Paint Cross former event horse that came to us when the physical demands of eventing became too strenuous for him. He has been a great addition to our school and is enjoyed by both children and adults, beginners and advanced riders, and is proving to be an IEA Superstar winning classes at every show we have taken him to!
You can find a link to some pictures of him from his event days on our facebook page. |

Fiona is a small pony mare. She can take kids from Leadline to Short Stirrup. Before coming to us she worked in a school program in VT. She has been out strutting her stuff in Walk/Trot at the shows this year and has been doing great. |
|
Sox is a great colored Appaloosa gelding with 4 socks and a blaze. Sox is great for our bigger beginners and can take riders from their first ride and then teach them how to canter and jump. He is also great for our IEA riders and is proving to be a great draw at the IEA shows!

Red Red is owned by the Jenks family. He is a Belgian Draft/Quarter Horse cross. He is one of the "Big Boys" down in the barn, but is very sweet and gentle for a big horse. He has taken to jumping with aplomb and his training is progressing quickly. He is fun to ride and super comfortable! |
|
Rosie Rosie is Missy's horse. She is a refined Thoroughbred mare and being bay with a star fits in perfectly here at Clarion Farm! We are working on fine tuning her training and hope to get her out showing in the Spring. |

Unforgettable Max AKA Little Max was Chlesea's Children's Pony before joining the school. His smooth gaits and great jump make him a favorite in our school and at the IEA shows where he is always an excellent draw. He has tons of show miles and can even take riders to the bigger rated shows!

Romeo is actually Neo's horse, but we like him so much we have decided to borrow him for the school. Romeo is quite the jack of all trades- he goes english and western, jumps, does a variety of tricks, goes in parades, and can even help herd cows if needed! He also has an easy going, pretty much unflappable temperment which is quickly making him one of our top schoolies. ***Available for Sale or Lease*** |

We also would like to aknowledge some of our great teachers who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and are no longer with us. The greatest teachers are the horses with the most experience, and with that experience comes age. It is always hard to say good bye, but we are eternally greatful for our time with these special horses and know that they have all earned a special place in heaven for all that they have done for us and the riders that they so patiently taught for so many years.
