Welcome to Clarion Farm, Inc.
Founded in 2006 by Carly Fisher, Clarion Farm is a Hunter/Jumper Stable that caters to both Junior and Adult riders. Located in Franklin, Ma, we are convenient to Boston, Providence and Worcester and are less than 3 miles off of I-495. With 19 stalls we are large enough to offer you the social atmosphere that makes riding fun and small enough to give you the personal attention that you deserve. Our goal is to make your horse experience fun and easy and to provide superior care and training to both horse and rider
We are a competition-oriented facility and attend shows in New England, the surrounding areas, and Florida. Our show schedule includes local shows to help those just beginning to show a place to start, as well as, larger “A” rated shows in the area. We also participate in Regional Finals including the Mass Horseman’s Council Days of Champions and the New England Equitation Championships, and well as, National Finals for Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. We tailor our training programs to help each horse and rider reach their individual goals whether it is the Short Stirrup Hunters or the Grand Prix Jumpers.
We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our horses and strive to give our clients the best service in the business. Our experienced staff is there to care for your horse and give you peace of mind that your horse’s needs are being met. This includes the onsite owner/manager who sees to your horses needs around the clock including a night check to make sure all horses are comfortable, blanketed correctly and have enough hay and water for the night. Our stalls are bedded with pine shavings and cleaned twice daily. We feed only the best quality Hay and Grain and feed programs are tailored to each horse’s individual needs. We offer Platinum Performance supplements and any other supplements that your horse may need are fed per your instructions at no extra charge. Horses are turned out 7 days a week weather and footing permitting to stretch their legs and clear their minds. This provides them with a healthy state of mind and allows us to help them reach their full athletic potential. We also boot and blanket and your horse, and coordinate and record vaccinations, de-worming, Veterinary, and Farrier services all included in your monthly board. We offer a variety of training programs help each student customize their training program to help them reach their goals.
Our Riding School is run with the same high standards. Our experienced instructors can help everyone from a brand new beginner to adults wanting to get back into riding after taking time off to have a family. They are safety oriented and teach strong basics and horsemanship but keep the atmosphere light and the lessons fun. We are one of the only farms that offer lessons to children as young as three. We have a 15-minute lesson for kids under 5 to help them learn while accounting for their shorter attention span. The other half of out teaching team is our school horses. Many of them are former champions in the show ring and now help teach new riders. Many can also attend local shows to help get riders started on a show career.
